What Sets Us Apart?

We are aware that you have worked hard to build your wealth..
You now want clarity and certainty in the approach, so that your money is managed in a targeted and methodical way?

Investment decisions can indeed be very complex: markets fluctuate, opportunities are numerous, and making a decision is often difficult. We know how demanding wealth management is. And we are convinced that private investors should have access to transparent, stability-oriented and long-term wealth management.

That is why we founded Genève Invest 20 years ago and have since specialised in the

fixed-income sector.

We are a FINMA-licensed independent asset manager. We make decisions independently of products and based on our own, in-depth research. This is how we make your wealth useful for your planning:

Clear, rule-based approach

Ongoing monitoring of issuers, prices and risks

Transparent reports and costs

Instead of dealing with complex investment decisions that often lead nowhere:

Focus on your best life, knowing that you have the right plan and your wealth is managed methodically and transparently.

What Many Investors Ask Us

"Why hire someone else?
I can buy bonds myself."

That’s right. You can also buy bonds yourself. The question is always which ones you are allocated and how you select them. The bond market is complex; some bonds are not listed on the stock exchange, and new issues are often not publicly announced. Or, as a private investor, you may not receive an allocation, whereas banks or brokers do. It is helpful to have an asset manager at your side who has direct access to the market and can leverage their experience.

"Why bother?
I'd rather stick with fixed deposits."

Fixed deposits offer interest for a fixed term. The returns must be taxed, and the actual yield also depends on inflation. And what happens if the market interest rate changes? Fixed deposits may seem like a good alternative at first glance, but their sustainability should also be examined. With bonds, we can lock in interest rates for as long as possible (provided the bond issuer performs).

"I prefer buying equities and ETFs.
They offer the highest returns."

Equities have achieved high returns in many historical periods. At least that is what the past has shown when examining long periods of 20 years or more. At the same time, there are phases in which equities perform poorly and suffer price losses. For investors, this means lower returns. Depending on your personal life situation and life planning, equities may therefore not necessarily be suitable for wealth management.

"Investing in real estate is the safest option, isn't it?"

This cannot be stated in general terms. Real estate ties up capital and reduces short-term liquidity. Additionally, maintenance, administration and dealing with tenants can involve additional effort. One should be aware of this. Other forms of investment can, depending on their structure, involve less ongoing effort.

"Investing is always a gamble. I'd rather not participate."

A gamble depends on chance. Investing, however, is a rule-based process with clear objectives, liquidity reserves, diversification and a risk budget. The results remain uncertain to a certain degree, but the risk is consciously managed, meaning it is not left to chance.

Why "not participating" is also risky:

What professional investing means:

Why "not participating" is also risky:

  • Kaufkraftverlust: Wer dauerhaft in Cash/Festgeld bleibt, trägt Inflations- und Reinvestitionsrisiko.
  • Konzentrationsrisiko: Vermögen nur auf einem Konto/bei einer Bank zu halten, ist auch eine Konzentration.
  • Zeit-Risiko: Späterer Einstieg kann bedeuten, Chancen in Zwischenzeiten zu verpassen (ohne sie zu versprechen).

Was professionelles Investieren ausmacht (ohne Zockerei):

  • Ziele, Zeithorizont, Liquiditätsbedarf können Sie definieren.
  • Streuung über Emittenten, Branchen, Laufzeiten; Qualität prüfen.
  • Risikobudget festlegen (z. B. stabilitätsorientiert statt maximaler Ertrag).
  • Regelmäßiges Monitoring und Anpassungen bei veränderten Daten.
  • Schrittweiser Einstieg (Tranchen), um Zeitpunkteffekte zu mildern.

Conclusion

Not investing is also a decision, but one with its own risks. Serious investing means consciously taking and managing risks, rather than gambling. If you wish, we can outline a stability-oriented approach (without performance guarantees) that suits your profile and time horizon.
